Q. Does netdog incorporate any innovations?

A. netdog is programmed using the most modern techniques regarding web applications.  This includes Python, Django, HTML, CSS and JavaScript code running in an Apache webserver. The combination of multicore technology, increased memory size and appropriate programming makes netdog extremely fast and easy to use.
A. netdog comes preinstalled in a Raspberry PI4 model B, which is a small, energy-efficient and cost-effective device. Server and all necessary services are preactivated. An online manual includes all the necessary information for initial user setup and reference for using netdogs’ functions.

Register your devices, their location and role inside your network using one of the following ways: Register the devices one by one, Scan a network at a range you define and then register the devices that are found and are not already registered, or Import a CSV file containing all the required information. Then let netdog check their current status, show information about them and inform you if something changes.
A. With netdog you can download pdf reports that list all registered devices, all non-responding devices, devices that are installed at a specific location or have a distinguishing role.

A. Yes, netdog includes a preinstalled logging server that can record logs from various devices across your network. You can create keywords, highlight them with a color in hexadecimal format and enable receiving notifications as soon as this keyword shows up in your log file.
A. With netdog you can manage your network devices by sending programming payloads at once, using line scripting or the integrated quick set of commands. Only devices with Mikrotik RouterOS are, for the moment, supported.

This helps reducing electricity consumption, protecting the environment and reducing equipment wear.
